Description of Action

The Administration recommends maintaining the existing City operating “tentative tax rate” at 5.9998 mills for the fiscal year starting 10/1/2012.  The Resolution also establishes the tentative voter-approved debt service tax rate at .2680 mills.

Fiscal Impact/Cost Summary

Provides funding for the 2012/13 annual budget.  Assumes that 95% of the millage will be collected (after 4% early pay discount) in accord with State law. 

Operating Millage -   $14,678,564

Debt Service          -          655,709
